Camels are usually found in a desert type of climate where the temperature is extreme. Extremely hot temperatures make it a difficult place for survival. Temperature is not the only obstacle of deserts, the blanket of sand makes it equally difficult to survive.
To withstand these extreme conditions, Camels have been blessed with some special features that we don’t usually see in other animals. One of those features is Camel’s eye.
Camels have three sets of eyelids. Not just that, they also have two rows of long eyelashes. This helps them to keep sand out of getting into their eyes. Their thick eyebrows also shield the eyes from the desert sun.
Camels also have nostrils that can close to avoid sand coming in and their huge feet help them to walk on sand without sinking into it.
Of all the things, Camels are definitely the sand fighter and an interesting animal.
